Cincy Panel

Facebook Messenger privacy

Last updated October 19, 2026

This policy covers the Facebook Page messaging connection in Cincy Panel, operated by Cincy Lawn Care and Landscaping. It lets us receive an inquiry sent to our business Page and manually reply in the same Messenger conversation.

Information received and stored

The connection stores the business Page identifier, the sender's Page-scoped identifier, available profile name, message text, message identifiers and timestamps. It also stores owner replies, reply delivery states, read indicators, and technical records used to avoid processing a message twice. If a message contains only an attachment, the panel can show a notice to view it in the Facebook Page inbox; this connection does not download the attachment into Cincy Panel.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to questions about lawn care, estimates, scheduling and service, keep conversations separate, and operate the messaging connection. The owner reads the inquiry and writes the reply. The connection does not automatically generate replies, schedule work, or send unsolicited messages. Optional owner phone alerts notify subscribed devices that a message arrived.

Who handles it

Information is stored on Cincy's server hosted through CGN Hosting and is accessible through authorized panel accounts according to their access permissions. Messages and replies pass through Meta's Messenger services. If enabled, owner notifications use the device's browser push service. These providers operate their own systems and handle their own copies of information under their policies.

Messenger and customer accounts

Facebook Messenger is our initial inquiry channel. Once you have a Cincy customer account, use the Cincy app's existing customer messaging for ongoing service communication. Creating that account does not automatically erase or block your Facebook conversation. This Messenger connection does not provide Facebook Login or automatically link a Facebook identity to a Cincy customer login.

Retention and requests

The panel does not currently apply an automatic expiry period to every Messenger conversation. You can request deletion of the Facebook-message data held by Cincy using the Messenger data deletion instructions. We verify the requester and review the relevant records. Removing a conversation from the inbox is not, by itself, proof that all associated identifiers, technical records or backup copies were removed.

Copies in recovery backups, server logs, Meta's systems, or independently created service and financial records need separate handling. A deletion request for Cincy's Messenger data does not delete your Facebook account, a Cincy customer account, or an invoice. Ask for confirmation of what was removed and an explanation of anything retained and its applicable retention. We do not promise immediate erasure from every backup or provider.
